Follow the traditional track of rail carts that brought the mined copper ore from the mines at Tankardstown, Knockmahon down to the staging cove in Bunmahon. Here, goldsmith and geologist Tina Keating, from Keating & Stone, describes how the ore was dressed, stored in sacks, and rowed out to the waiting ships to bring it across the water to Swansea in Wales for smelting.
