Poulanaas and Reefert church
Flashing sunshine sparkles through a canopy of trees as you go up sloping steps towards Poulanaas Waterfall that cascades down the side of the Lugduff valley. Continue up the steep gradient to the top where you descend down the path towards Reefert’s Church and Saint Kevin’s Cell, two monastic ruins from the days when Glendalough was a bustling city of monks and scholars between the 6th – 11th century AD.
