Art Agnew, a retired English teacher from St Louis school, Carrickmacross, is one of the leading volunteers at the Patrick Kavanagh Visitor Centre, Inniskeen, County Monaghan. Art's interest and love of Kavanagh's work shines through and brings to life The Poet's experiences and inspiration growing up in rural Ireland in the early 1900's.
